An exciting atmosphere is created for children to experiment and try out new roles. Fantasy play develops imagination, it gives an outlet for self –expression, it enriches language skills, it offers emotional release and it gives scope for socialization to occur.

Some features of the Drama Station
A wide range of props are available for children to use to encourage dramatic play. Puppets are used to re-enact a story and make it come alive. Costumes and props are used to enact different characters, creatures and objects.
Story exploration though various media (slides, books, movies) is aimed at enriching language skills, story- telling skills and to provide an insight into the world of storybook plots and character portrayal. The focus on this part of the drama program is to give a child a three-dimensional look into the world of literature.
Always blossoming at Kangaroo Kids Club
The Drama station allows for plenty of opportunities for role-play and “dress-ups”.
Many of the toddler sessions bring nursery rhymes and stories to life with visits from ‘Little Mis Muffet’ and ‘Gymbo’ and also allow children to become active participants on a rhyme story such as the ‘teddy Bears Picnic’.
